What are the Top Features for Acura SUVs?

Kelley Blue Book’s ‘Best Value Luxury Brand’ has six current models to choose from. Four of them are Acura cars like the Acura ILX compact luxury sedan, the TLX sports sedan, the RLX full-size luxury car, and the award-winning Acura NSX supercar. But in the vehicle lineup there are also two Acura SUVs to choose from, and they just might be the most popular of the bunch. Here are the top features for the two sport utility vehicles in the Acura lineup, courtesy of Jay Wolfe Acura of Overland Park.

Acura RDX

The Acura RDX has undergone a complete redesign, available first for the 2019 model year. Since then, it’s been an award-wining and increasingly popular SUV in the Acura stable. The RDX features spacious interior seating for five adults in an elegant cabin. The slate of power options come standard but there’s much more available including full-grain Milano leather upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and Acura/ELS Studio 3D Premium Audio. Apple CarPlay is standard equipment. The RDX’s looks are second to none in its class. Jewel Eye LED headlights, the Diamond Pentagon grille, and a sculpted design that integrates LED Dragon Taillights are part of the offerings. A huge Panoramic Moonroof is also standard on all models.  Setting the bar high for luxury SUVs, tech features abound in the Acura RDX. The True Touchpad Interface lets you harness the power of your in-vehicle tech easily. AcuraWatch technologies like Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System, and Road Departure Mitigation are standard while additional safety features are available.  And then there’s the performance. Every 2020 Acura RDX and newer is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 272 horsepower. It’s paired with a fantastic 10-speed automatic transmission for awesome acceleration and fuel economy. Choose yours either as a front-wheel-drive model or with Acura’s outstanding Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) for supremely stable traction in all conditions.

Acura MDX

The midsize Acura SUV is the Acura MDX. Not only is the exterior a little larger for driving stability but the interior offers up more space for cargo and people. It’s the best-selling vehicle in its class with seating for up to seven.  It’s powered by your choice of two systems: a gas-powered 3.5-liter V6 with 290 horsepower with available Super Handling All-Wheel Drive or a 321-hp Sport Hybrid powertrain that has standard SH-AWD.  The Acura MDX is a stylish vehicle that has Jewel Eye LED headlights standard, available 20-inch alloy wheels, and chiseled body lines. Inside, the MDX has leather upholstery, one-touch smart-slide access to the rear seat, power moonroof, and easily configurable seating to load any stuff you need to carry.  Connect with Bluetooth or with standard Apple CarPlay, and choose the 10-speaker ELS Studio Premium Audio system to tickle your eardrums. A second-row roof-mounted entertainment system is an option as well.  Standard safety includes AcuraWatch technologies like those the RDX has, while Blind Spot Information System and other premium options are available too.    Looking for a new Acura SUV or car in the Overland Park, KS area?
